When I started reading this book I can honestly say I was blown away. I'd never read a Lauren Dane volume until now and boy does she know how to brand the pages sizzle get your pulse racing! The story tells of a rock chick who dates a cop in their younger years. They are both very sexual and quite kinky merely she is comfortable in her own skin and with her sexuality and he is not. Ten years later on they are re-united, things happen and then a third political party is introduced. I won't say anymore about what happens in the plot equally I don't want to spoil the story. Anyway, for me the book was absolutely perfect until Ben (the third party) is introduced into the human relationship. Up until and then the human relationship between Todd and Erin seemed so genuine and the chemistry between them almost tangible. The beloved scenes were very descriptive and written so well I well-nigh felt similar I was there watching it all unfold earlier my eyes it was that good a volume, believe me! Nonetheless, I think information technology all went downhill in one case they invited Ben into the human relationship. Before information technology was a beautiful romance and the characters had depth and history that yous could believe in and chronicle to but when Ben got involved it just didn't make sense or add to the story - if anything it took away from it and I concluded up bored at the cease, not beingness one-half as moved by Ben and Erin's romance and feelings towards each other equally in the beginning. And then in that respect information technology's near like she undid all the effort she put in developing Ben and Erin in the beginning Literally in the kickoff at that place is so much erotica, every few pages information technology seemed in that location was something to get your blood pumping and not merely was information technology very steamy information technology was also quite moving. Just so when two became three the sexy bits became less and less and not very "exciting" at that.
